Vietnamese workers attracted to Foreign companies with career development opportunities

In the best places to work in Vietnam, multinational corporations have occupied the top 6 positions, source from a lately survey.

 

What Vietnam job-seekers need in an company aren’t just about basic wage and special bonuses, only 33.5 percent of people seek jobs with these two norms, many will exchange any advantages for career development opportunities while applied for a job with the rate of 50.7, extracted from Jobstreet Vietnam’s survey.

Followed-by second and third position are: professional competent augment with 44.8 percent and treatments, welfares with 44.3 percent.

In Southeast Asian region, only Thailand workers have the same norm with Vietnamese, for other countries, such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia often put first their preferences on basic income, subsidies, compensation. For the most developed countries in SEA – Singapore, their workforce is fragmented into 2 major groups, one choose working environment and the other choose salary.

In Vietnam, Unilever is the top choice for job seekers, which was voted as the most attractive employer 3 years in a row since 2013 in term of salary, rewards and welfare, the second place was the largest dairy corporation Vinamilk, five followed positions were various foreign companies set foot in the rank

Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies are leading      of manpower recruitment in the country with 5 out 10 brands in the top list, among them there were 4 wholly foreign-owned companies.

Some domestic spotlights such as: Vingroup – operated by Pham Nhat Vuong, the first billionaire of the country, was ranked the third with its website, the following employers were in IT industry: Samsung, FPT, Viettel, Intel.

The supremacy of FMCG brands completely filled by Nestle, P&G and Suntry PepsiCo in the top 10

For banking and finance sector, among the most magnetized, Vietcombank, BIDV, Saigon Commercial Bank took hold the top three employers, foreign-invested banks such as: HSBC and Citibank were sorted at the third and fourth of the chart.
